Fundación Red Proyecto Gente – FRPG is a non-profit organization that implements community projects in Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) and Food Security.
We join local processes to strengthen community capacities and self-management in the future.
What
We Do?
Water projects
We support initiatives that facilitate access to water suitable for human consumption by communities. We seek to transform lives, using simple and low-cost techniques and technologies that are functional in rural areas and in isolated areas or areas with accessibility problems.
Help us enhance knowledge and local actions around water solutions, while contributing to peace and sustainability.
WASH Education and Research
We promote training in WASH that serves to implement projects. We have conducted small research and development adaptation projects such making bio-sand filters of plastic and, in association with afx-solutions, a solar-powered UV disinfection device.
Soon, we will undertake new micro-initiatives of water pumping systems using photovoltaics and rainwater harvesting. Do you want to help us with this? We are waiting for you on our network!
